Hello everyone, I am Yang Renfa from the Yangtze River Delta Integration Development Research Institute of Anhui University. Today, we have arrived at the Key System Comprehensive Research Facility Park for Fusion Reactor in Hefei, Anhui Province. It is commonly known as the Kuafu Park, which is the core scientific device platform for the next generation of "artificial sun".
At present, a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is deepening, and many places are still thinking about how to "seize the opportunity". Anhui has quietly built a systematic logic of "nurturing" and "nurturing" future industries, providing "hard core support" for cultivating and developing new quality production capacity with a unique future industrial ecology.
The first is strategic guidance, building the future industrial system. Anhui Province adheres to forward-looking layout, innovative sources, and application driven development. During the 15th Five Year Plan period, it will lay out ten future industries including quantum technology, biomanufacturing, hydrogen energy and nuclear fusion energy, brain computer interfaces, and embodied intelligence. By 2030, the province aims to achieve a future industrial scale of 500 billion yuan. This layout anchors the core track of new quality productivity, helps Anhui seize the initiative in global future industrial competition, and injects strong momentum into Anhui's high-quality development.
The second is to innovate and consolidate the three major scientific and technological innovation highlands. Anhui's confidence comes from its strategic technological strength that has accumulated over time. Relying on the comprehensive national science center in Hefei, Anhui is making every effort to promote the construction of three scientific and technological innovation leading highlands: quantum information, fusion energy, and deep space exploration. This is the core pivot for Anhui to strengthen its national strategic scientific and technological strength, demonstrating its mission of serving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance, and providing solid support and regional practice samples for the strategy of building a strong scientific and technological country.
The third is spatial agglomeration, with a hierarchical layout of leading areas. Since 2024, Anhui has gradually laid out future industry incubation bases, science and technology parks, and pilot zones, connecting the future industry cultivation chain of "source innovation - technology transformation - product development - scene application - industrialization - industrial clusters", and striving to create future technology source areas, future scene application areas, and future industrial agglomeration areas with important influence and competitiveness. This will accelerate the integration of the entire innovation chain, promote the development of industrial clusters, provide a solid foundation for future industrial scale, and shape new regional competitive advantages.
The fourth is capital talent, cultivating a fertile ground for industrial development. Anhui will establish a mechanism for future industrial investment growth and risk sharing, establish an Anhui Province New Quality Productivity Investment Platform, build an integrated development mechanism of "government, industry, academia, research, finance, and utilization", and implement long-term capital and patient capital cultivation plans. Establish and improve the consultation mechanism of "scientists+entrepreneurs+investors" to enhance the ability to predict cutting-edge technology strategies. These measures precisely adapt to the long-term and highly uncertain growth characteristics of future industries, stimulate innovation vitality through collaborative mechanisms, and build a full cycle ecological support system for hard technology achievements from laboratories to industrialization.
Anhui is exploring a new path of deep integration of "science and technology innovation+industry" from the original innovation of "0 to 1" to the industrial transformation of "1 to 100". As the "key variable" of technological innovation continues to transform into the "maximum increment" of high-quality development, Anhui's future industries are gradually flourishing and growing into towering trees.
