From September 20 to 21, the large-scale red Naju opera "Song of Life," created by the Hubei Xianfeng County Naju Art Inheritance and Protection Center, was performed at Tsinghua University's New Tsinghua Auditorium in Beijing, making its debut at the 7th National Ethnic Minorities Cultural and Art Festival.
"Song of Life" is set in western Hubei during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and tells the brief yet heroic life of He Gongwei, who served as the Secretary of the Special Committee of the Communist Party of China in western Hubei at that time. At a moment when the nation faced existential peril, a group of young Communists, guided by their faith, ignited hope amidst the darkness. (Looking Toward the New Era)
