Unlike the extended model, which mainly meets the demand of the high-capacity market, the shortened model has a two cabin layout of 140 seats, which can meet the civil aviation transportation needs in high-altitude areas. As the main manufacturer of domestic commercial aircraft, COMAC is steadily promoting the scale and series development of domestic aircraft. As of now, the C919 has safely operated for over 150000 hours, carried over 8 million passengers, and sailed to 26 cities. The C909 has safely flown for over 1.1 million hours and carried over 40 million passengers, becoming the mainstay of the domestic regional market and connecting with 13 neighboring countries.

Shen Bo, General Manager of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, introduced that the C929 is undergoing a steady detailed design phase. COMAC continues to enrich its product lineup, delivering C909 cargo aircraft, medical aircraft, emergency rescue command aircraft, and business aircraft to customers, and obtaining commercial orders for fire extinguishers. COMAC is adapting to the trend of new energy and technological changes, deploying hybrid, electric, and hydrogen new energy aircraft to provide more intelligent and reliable products.
