The "My Dream" special cultural performance commemorating the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brunei, jointly organized by the China Disabled Persons' Art Troupe and Brunei disabled artists, was held on the 18th in the capital city of Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan. More than 400 government officials and friendly individuals from all walks of life, including Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Chen Shaochun, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Shamhari, Minister of Transport and Information and Communications Riza, attended the event.

45 visually impaired and hearing-impaired artists from the China Disabled Persons' Art Troupe brought over 10 classic performances, including sign language poetry "My Dream", dance "Thousand Armed Guanyin", "Paper Fan Scholar", and instrumental solo ensemble. 20 local disabled actors from Brunei Yishan Center and Happiness Center participated on stage.

Chen Shaochun said in his speech that China is willing to work hand in hand with the Chinese side, adhere to the strategic guidance of the head of state, continuously consolidate high-level strategic mutual trust, deepen friendly cooperation in various fields, and jointly open up a better future for the Chinese community with a shared future.

Chen Jiafu, President of the Brunei China Friendship Association, stated that the Chinese Disabled Persons' Art Troupe's revisit to Brunei after more than 20 years, using art to build a bridge of spiritual communication, is a witness to the continuation of the friendship between the two countries.

According to Huang Jing, director of the Cultural Exchange Center of the Five Continents Communication Center, during their stay in Brunei, the art troupe will also visit campuses and communities for interactive exchanges, allowing more young people and the public to experience the charm of art, bringing the hearts of the two countries closer, and consolidating the social foundation of Chinese people to people friendship.
