From outdoor navigation to indoor precise positioning, from daily travel to outdoor sports, from 'far away' to 'visible everywhere'... Beidou is deeply integrated into people's daily lives. On September 15-16, the 5th Beidou Scale Application International Summit was held in Zhuzhou, Hunan. The reporter observed at the meeting that Beidou is entering daily life, moving towards future industries, and entering a global perspective.
Stepping out of the professional circle, Beidou deeply integrates into clothing, food, housing, and transportation. At this year's Beidou Summit, more and more consumer grade products are starting to use Beidou, from wearable devices and electric vehicle terminals to urban emergency and indoor navigation in commercial districts, with services within reach.
At the Beidou booth of Huada, an electric vehicle attracted many attendees to stop and take a look. This seemingly ordinary electric vehicle is equipped with a screen in the regular instrument position. This screen is like a screen in a car, providing navigation and other services, "said the staff. The Beidou chip provided by the company provides positioning services for terminal devices, and users can view location information such as the parking position and driving trajectory of electric vehicles through the app.
The first Beidou indoor and outdoor integrated positioning demonstration project in the national clothing market has been implemented in the Lusong China City clothing market in Zhuzhou, Hunan. Deploying thousands of positioning beacon terminals on the 7th floor of the market operation site, achieving seamless switching between outdoor sub meter level and indoor within 3 meters. According to He Chang, Chief Economist of Zhuzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, after the launch of Beidou indoor positioning, consumers can accurately find stalls on their mobile phones. Market management personnel can track the flow of goods in real time and quickly locate personnel in emergency situations, providing support for fire evacuation and emergency rescue.
In the peak exhibition area, consumer grade products such as assault jackets with built-in Beidou chips are also attracting attention. Its functions such as one click distress call and personnel trajectory monitoring make Beidou a safety "talisman" for people.
Deeply grafting into new tracks, the integration of Beidou with future industries is becoming increasingly close. This summit focuses on the integration of Beidou+low altitude, Beidou+space-time intelligence, Beidou+industrial Internet and other solutions, upgrading satellite positioning from a single navigation tool to the basic space-time base of new quality productivity.
Low altitude economy is one of the most talked about topics at this summit. In the outdoor exhibition area, Hunan Xinyi Intelligent Technology Development Co., Ltd.'s "Ark" series logistics drones rely on BeiDou centimeter level positioning to undertake medical emergency material distribution tasks, and can transport emergency drugs and test samples between urban buildings. Low altitude flight requires extremely high synchronization of position and time. Beidou provides a continuous and stable spatiotemporal reference, which is the core prerequisite for safe flight, automatic takeoff and landing, and route planning of unmanned aerial vehicles, "said the staff of Xinyi Intelligent.
In Zhuzhou, the Beidou Industrial Park has formed an industrial closed loop of "star arrow network end data", and a group of commercial satellite enterprises have taken root here. During an interview at the summit, Liu Tong, the general manager of Hunan Sedlite Satellite Technology Co., Ltd., introduced that the company has built a 34000 square meter intelligent factory in Zhuzhou, with the ability to produce 150 small satellites per year below the tonnage level.
The reporter noticed that 51 innovative achievements were released at the summit. The "Tiantong+Beidou" domestic satellite based navigation enhancement system jointly built by China Telecom Satellite Communications Branch and the Aerospace Information Innovation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has been implemented in smart agriculture, marine mapping, meteorological monitoring and other scenarios.
Adhering to open sharing, Beidou has moved from domestic application to global collaboration. It is understood that this summit has invited many foreign guests to participate in the conference, set up the "the Belt and Road" aerospace Beidou international talent training class, and promoted Beidou technology, products, and programs to go abroad to serve global users.
At the international cooperation exhibition area, many Beidou demonstration projects aimed at developing countries were showcased. Beidou can provide low-cost positioning and timing services for overseas users in fields such as agriculture, disaster prevention and mitigation, and marine fisheries.
At the International Cooperation and Development Forum on Beidou Large scale Applications held on the afternoon of the 15th, the "Overseas Beidou Application Cooperation and Development Node (Brazil) and Innovation Base (Malaysia)" were unveiled. China Spatiotemporal Information Group Co., Ltd. and Kazakhstan National Center for Geodesy and Space Information signed the "Roadmap for the Construction of Beidou Application Cooperation Nodes in Kazakhstan".
Experts at the summit told reporters that satellite navigation is not a zero sum game, and Beidou is willing to be compatible and shared with other global navigation systems to jointly build a global space-time infrastructure. Several countries in Africa and Southeast Asia have implemented Beidou related demonstration projects for land surveying, disaster monitoring, and fisheries management, allowing more regions around the world to share the achievements of China's aerospace development.
