The Mbur Kaorac Expressway project, constructed by China Road and Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd., held its opening ceremony on the 22nd in Jiachai City, Mbur Province, Jess Region, western Senegal.

Senegalese President Faye attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, saying that this project is a manifestation of the good relationship between Senegal and China, and is particularly important for facilitating the travel of people in the central region of Senegal and strengthening the connectivity between the central region and other regions. The project was originally scheduled to be delivered by the end of September, but it is now open to traffic ahead of schedule.
