Recently, the first Intelligent Robot Application Skills Exhibition of China Central Radio and Television Station was launched in Beijing. Data shows that the application of domestic brand industrial robots in China has covered 253 industries in the national economy, with an average annual growth rate of 29% in sales in the domestic market over the past five years; In 2025, the export scale of industrial robots will exceed imports for the first time, and products will be sold to 156 countries and regions. China's intelligent manufacturing is accelerating its entry into the global market.
Intelligent robots are deeply embedded in various fields of the economy and society, from factory workshops to streets and alleys, from the front line of disaster relief to the lights of thousands of households. At the launch event, multiple intelligent robots in industrial, service, and special fields, including the country's first flood and typhoon prevention intelligent robot "AI Flood Control Warrior" and the member of the country's first large-scale traffic management robot squadron "Hang Police Intelligent Tour", made consecutive appearances. On the same day, the "Intelligent Innovation Collaboration: Eight Trends in Robot Evolution" jointly released by CCID Research Institute and CCTV News showed that artificial intelligence empowers thousands of industries, and robot application scenarios continue to expand, presenting eight development trends including base reconstruction, intelligent leap, cluster collaboration, global penetration, human-machine integration, ecological reshaping, business innovation, and safety fence building.
It is reported that the "Intelligent Competition Future - First Intelligent Robot Application Skills Exhibition" focuses on key scenarios such as production and manufacturing, maintenance and repair, catering and retail, medical and health care, emergency rescue, etc., allowing intelligent robots to undergo testing and improve their skills in real environments, achieving a hardcore upgrade from "showing off skills" to "being able to work".
This intelligent robot application skills exhibition will also build a production and demand docking platform through live performances, data releases, case sharing, and innovative competitions, promoting the practical application of more innovative achievements and allowing more embodied intelligent robots to enter real scenarios. Representatives from provinces and cities such as Zhejiang, Hubei, and Jiangsu released iconic application scenarios for real-life training of humanoid robots and embodied intelligence on site.
With the launch of the exhibition, multiple real-life displays will be gradually implemented across the country. On the day of the activity, the "First CMG World Robot Climbing Mount Taishan Competition" was launched, making the complex environment of Mount Taishan become an intelligent "natural limit test ground" for practical training, testing the robot's ability to perceive, make decisions, operate, adapt to the environment and operate reliably.
