At today's special press conference of the National Development and Reform Commission, the relevant person in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission stated that the China Europe freight train has reached 236 cities in 26 European countries.

It is reported that the types of goods transported by the China Europe freight train have covered 53 major categories and over 50000 varieties, and the proportion of the value of goods transported to China Europe freight trade has been increasing year by year. In June of this year, Europe was swept by a record breaking heat wave, with temperatures reaching over 40 degrees Celsius. The demand for air conditioning refrigeration exploded, and Chinese air conditioning was in short supply locally. Air conditioning manufacturers switched their replenishment channels from sea freight to China Europe freight trains, reducing the transportation cycle from 40 days to around 15 days and building a "fast lane" for China Europe trade. At present, the China Europe freight train has laid out 96 operating routes, forming a diversified pattern of northern, central, and southern overseas channels, connecting 236 cities in 26 European countries, and building a smooth, efficient, multi-directional extension, and sea land interconnected channel network.
