In 2025, public prosecutions were initiated against 6,000 minors. On the other hand, a zero-tolerance attitude is maintained towards crimes against minors, with 56,000 minors arrested and 3,000 prosecuted according to the law. Severe and heavy punishments are imposed on heinous crimes that target minors to retaliate against society, forming a powerful deterrent.
Second, adhering to intervention, and promoting the graded intervention and correction of juvenile delinquent behavior. It actively promotes the construction of specialized schools, cooperates in formulating relevant documents, and strengthens legal supervision over specialized and specialized corrective education. It guides local procuratorial organs to actively explore solutions, with over 300 procuratorial organs at or above the county level jointly establishing a graded intervention mechanism for delinquent behavior in collaboration with functional departments such as public security, education, and civil affairs.
