'Willing to practice' is the prerequisite, 'knowing how to practice' is the key

Not long ago, the squadron organized military training and assessment, and I broke my personal best record in the 400 meter obstacle course.
At the moment I crossed the finish line, my comrades cheered for me. Looking back at the obstacle course I ran through and recalling the effort I put in, I am filled with emotions.
I am notorious for being a tough time when it comes to recruiting new soldiers. Running 3000 meters, others have already crossed the line, but I still have a long way to go. The class monitor didn't say much and said, "Starting today, let the veteran run with you every day
On the days of intensive training, I gritted my teeth and followed my comrades, chasing after them in circles, my calves running sore and swollen. If I couldn't pull up the horizontal bar, the class monitor asked me to hang it with both hands and hang it for as long as I could. Blood blisters appeared on the palm of the hand, the scab broke, and then it was worn again. After three months, I have reached a good level in the 3000 meter run and can pull five or six strokes on the horizontal bar.
This kind of experience has developed my basic skills and honed my perseverance. I have come to recognize one principle: if I can't do it once, I will do it ten times. As long as I am willing to put in the effort, I will definitely be able to achieve my goals.
After connecting, I entered the 400 meter obstacle course with this idea in mind. Poor coordination and weak foundation, so run more. Practice every day until you feel sore all over, but feel at ease. At the end of the month, my performance was assessed and I achieved a good level. Just as I was secretly proud, the results of my comrades in the same year were reported - several of them rushed into excellence.
I am the one who trains the hardest, not the one who runs the fastest, and not the one who makes the greatest progress. I was suddenly confused. The hard work has not diminished, why did it fall behind?
The platoon leader saw the problem and called me to the obstacle course, asking me to run again. He pointed out the problems one by one: the low wall jumped late and the explosive power couldn't keep up; The center of gravity of the ladder is shaking, and the core is not tightened; Crawling with disjointed hands and feet, uncoordinated movements... "He asked me," You have indeed practiced a lot, but you always practice so foolishly. Have you corrected the problem? Can you make up for the shortcomings
I was stunned. Looking back on this period of time, I only focused on running back and forth, thinking that once I practiced well, I would naturally be faster. I never stopped to think about where the problem was, let alone making targeted improvements. The platoon leader continued, "Training cannot rely solely on the word 'practice', we also need to figure out how to practice. The obstacle is technical subjects, and we need to fill in the gaps in order to achieve results
After careful reflection, I changed my training method and began to explore more scientific methods: if my explosive power was not enough, I would first practice squats and box jumps; If the core is unstable, practice plank support and suspended leg lifting; If the movements are not coordinated, lie on the ground and practice breaking down movements, correcting habitual movements over and over again until the muscles form memory. Watching my grades getting better and better, my confidence is also growing stronger.
This personal record was broken, and my comrades said it was the result of hard training. I smiled, knowing in my heart that what truly made me break through was to use my brain more on the basis of hard work and practice with scientific methods.
Being willing to endure hardship is a prerequisite, and being able to train is the key. The combination of the two is the key to understanding the training process and the true growth of a warrior. (Looking into the New Era)
